Cleaning out my Closet with Poshmark

One of my New Years resolutions (that I really did intend on keeping) was abiding the one-in, one-out rule for my closet. For every new item I purchased I was going to say goodbye to an old one. Like most beginning of the year resolutions this one was quickly forgotten. My closet has become a bit embarrassing as of late with plenty of items that I no longer wear- and far too many that I purchased and have NEVER worn.  In this blog post I’m talking about cleaning out the clutter with reselling app Poshmark . In the past I have tried a different consignment type service where you send…

Subscription Box Review: Yoga Club Box

I’m so excited to start off this subscription review series with Yoga Club Box ! I’m a huge fan of athluxe and athleasure wear in general, so reviewing a designer athletic wear box seemed was a perfect fit. One of the reasons I enjoy subscription boxes is the element of surprise.  With YogaClub you start by taking a fun quiz that narrows down your preferences so a stylist can curate the perfect outfit for you. After the quiz a YogaClub stylist creates a 3 piece outfit hand picked from amazing brands like Free People, Teekie and Onzie at about 50% off retail value.  You get to choose between a monthly or quarterly membership…

    Travel on a Budget

Transportation is one of the biggest costs that goes into traveling abroad. Honestly, I hate paying too  much for airline tickets because it cuts into my souvenir budget. This section is going to talk about my favorite budget airline, price comparison website, and my all time favorite travel app. My first recommendation for anyone who wants to travel without breaking the bank is to check out budget airline options in their area. Jori and I were able to get tickets to Paris during high season for around $450 each round-trip flying out of SFO by flying with WOW Airlines. Tickets were around $1000-$1200 during those same dates with other providers. …

From Beach to City in Juliet Robot

Juliet Robot is a relatively new Korean shoe brand that is sure to stop you in your tracks with their unique styles. The designs are feminine with bold colors, and skillfully constructed with high quality materials. The silhouettes range from dainty to exaggerated. I instantly fell in love with the Voluminous Pink shoe from the premier collection. I paired the shoes with a simple White Ruffle Tie Dress to really let the color and oversized bows serve as the outfits focal point. I wore these shoes for a city outing in San Francisco and visited the cutest bakery. I paired them with this striped  Midi Jumpsuit . The shoes were very comfortable…

    Candytopia San Francisco

I had such a great time in San Franciscos sweetest new interactive experience- Candytopia.  I was able to fulfill my sweet tooth fantasy at the preview event and went home with some delicious candy. Tickets are on sale now at Candytopia.com The exhibit is filled with swoon worthy candy themed rooms perfect for photo ops!My favorite room was the Trolli exhibit. The room features a CRAZY amount of confetti, rotating Trolli circle, and an aerial camera!   Statues and pictures made entirely out of candy fill the rooms. They have a room filled with swings and candy murals. The guides are so incredibly friendly and happy to take photos! They have…

Museum of Ice Cream: San Francisco- An updated review

UPDATE: This past month I was back at the Museum of Ice cream in San Francisco and noticed some MAJOR changes. They have added some more Ice Cream themed rooms and completely done away with a couple of OG’s. Never fear- the sprinkle pool is still there. The Banana  Swing alcove was still my favorite photo stop- thankfully that has stayed the same. New Room ALERT! The popsicle room is no more. I honestly prefer this new attraction ( to see the original room scroll below to my post from last year). The Circus Animal snack room made me feel nostalgic. I remember eating these by the handful as a…

    Rosé for the week

I am a huge fan of unicorn hair colors and am always toying with the idea of dying my hair pink or purple. I went to Target to pick up  some wrapping paper and a gift card and ended up leaving with a cart full of nonessentials- the typical result of my shopping experiences there. The most interesting product I couldn’t wait to try was a shower spray that promised to give rose-gold hair that washed out after 2-3 shampoos. I was intrigued. Kristin Ess Rose Gold Temporary Tint did not fail to disappoint! This is an in-shower product that you use on damp hair and leave in for 1-2…

    One Top, Multiple Looks

Follow my blog with Bloglovin Possibly the most used piece in my wardrobe at the moment is this colorful button up. This piece has been appearing on my Instagram in a variety of ways for the past month. It’s colorful, light weight and perfect for summer look books. A must have for any wardrobe is a unique print, or unexpectedly colorful button up. A non-basic button up is incredibly versatile, and has the ability to be reused and styled in multiple ways. This top served as the centerpiece for this rainbow look. I really wanted the decal on the shorts to pop without being overpowered, the primary colors in the top really did…
