    Subscription Box Review: Sips By

Calling all tea lovers- there is a subscription box for you! At $15 this box is very affordable and gives you 15+ cups. The best part of this box is the level of customization. On the SipsBy Website you get to take an extensive quiz designed to curate the perfect box. In the quiz you mark your various tea preferences (caffeinated/non-caffeinated , loose-leaf/bagged, desired tea notes, types of teas you want to try, types of tea you do NOT want, level of caffeinated). My preferences were noted to a T, I received partially bagged, and loose leaf tea with a variety of caffeine levels. My box also lacked teas with earthy notes,…

    Subscription Box Review: Bath Bevy

Bath Bevy is the lifestyle subscription box for bath lovers. Each month you are sent a selectively curated box. I ADORED Octobers spooky Halloween theme compete with cauldron bath fiz, spooky baby bat lotion, a ghostly bath bomb and more. This is not your basic bath box! At the price of $38.95 I received 6 spooky themed products, with a  variety of scents.   The baby bat lotion was a standout product. It has one of the most unique scents for a lotion and I was all for it!! I really didn’t pick up the cloves scent, to me it smelled exactly like marshmallow fluff mixed with early grey tea (two…

Subscription Box Review: Yoga Club Box

I’m so excited to start off this subscription review series with Yoga Club Box ! I’m a huge fan of athluxe and athleasure wear in general, so reviewing a designer athletic wear box seemed was a perfect fit. One of the reasons I enjoy subscription boxes is the element of surprise.  With YogaClub you start by taking a fun quiz that narrows down your preferences so a stylist can curate the perfect outfit for you. After the quiz a YogaClub stylist creates a 3 piece outfit hand picked from amazing brands like Free People, Teekie and Onzie at about 50% off retail value.  You get to choose between a monthly or quarterly membership…

    Beauty Spotlight: Wow You Beauty

This latest Beauty Spotlight post is all about beauty brand Wow You Beauty . I instantly connected to this brand even before trying their products through how genuine they sounded on their website and Instagram. Here is an excerpt from their website: “‘wow you’re beautiful!’ We believe you deserve to feel good in your skin no matter what anyone else thinks, f*** the haters, am I right?! Our ‘WOW YOU’re beautiful’ philosophy is all about having amazingly healthy happy skin, inside and out!” I love that philosophy and it really resonated with me. The brand caries a wide range of products for different skin types. I appreciate how they have a…

    Travel on a Budget

Transportation is one of the biggest costs that goes into traveling abroad. Honestly, I hate paying too  much for airline tickets because it cuts into my souvenir budget. This section is going to talk about my favorite budget airline, price comparison website, and my all time favorite travel app. My first recommendation for anyone who wants to travel without breaking the bank is to check out budget airline options in their area. Jori and I were able to get tickets to Paris during high season for around $450 each round-trip flying out of SFO by flying with WOW Airlines. Tickets were around $1000-$1200 during those same dates with other providers. …

    Make a Statement with ModCloth

I am a firm believer that outerwear should NOT be basic. ModCloth has a great selection of unique pieces that are perfect now that the weather is changing. Below I’ve created a list of some of my FAVORITE Fall purchases and some of the cutest statement pieces. This Polka Dot coat is the newest addition to my outerwear collection and I am in LOVE. I am a huge fan of mixing prints and have been needing more polka dots in my life. I paired it with these Ruby Red heels that I plan on using for a Dorothy themed costume in October. These four coats are currently in my shopping cart. I adore…

    Beauty Spotlight: Bayeco

For the last week I have switched up my usual beauty routine and added in two products from Bayeco’s innovative green tea range.  Bayeco operates with the mission to, “help women look beautiful from the outside and feel confident on the inside”. That mission statement really resonated with me. My skin is one of my biggest insecurities and most of the time my solution to breakouts and flareups is to cover it up with more makeup. One of the reasons I have started my beauty spotlight series is to share new products that I am discovering that help fix the problem instead of merely covering it up. Bayeco’s products were perfect for…
