    Beauty Spotlight: Wow You Beauty

This latest Beauty Spotlight post is all about beauty brand Wow You Beauty . I instantly connected to this brand even before trying their products through how genuine they sounded on their website and Instagram. Here is an excerpt from their website: “‘wow you’re beautiful!’ We believe you deserve to feel good in your skin no matter what anyone else thinks, f*** the haters, am I right?! Our ‘WOW YOU’re beautiful’ philosophy is all about having amazingly healthy happy skin, inside and out!” I love that philosophy and it really resonated with me. The brand caries a wide range of products for different skin types. I appreciate how they have a…

    Travel on a Budget

Transportation is one of the biggest costs that goes into traveling abroad. Honestly, I hate paying too  much for airline tickets because it cuts into my souvenir budget. This section is going to talk about my favorite budget airline, price comparison website, and my all time favorite travel app. My first recommendation for anyone who wants to travel without breaking the bank is to check out budget airline options in their area. Jori and I were able to get tickets to Paris during high season for around $450 each round-trip flying out of SFO by flying with WOW Airlines. Tickets were around $1000-$1200 during those same dates with other providers. …

    Make a Statement with ModCloth

I am a firm believer that outerwear should NOT be basic. ModCloth has a great selection of unique pieces that are perfect now that the weather is changing. Below I’ve created a list of some of my FAVORITE Fall purchases and some of the cutest statement pieces. This Polka Dot coat is the newest addition to my outerwear collection and I am in LOVE. I am a huge fan of mixing prints and have been needing more polka dots in my life. I paired it with these Ruby Red heels that I plan on using for a Dorothy themed costume in October. These four coats are currently in my shopping cart. I adore…

    Beauty Spotlight: Bayeco

For the last week I have switched up my usual beauty routine and added in two products from Bayeco’s innovative green tea range.  Bayeco operates with the mission to, “help women look beautiful from the outside and feel confident on the inside”. That mission statement really resonated with me. My skin is one of my biggest insecurities and most of the time my solution to breakouts and flareups is to cover it up with more makeup. One of the reasons I have started my beauty spotlight series is to share new products that I am discovering that help fix the problem instead of merely covering it up. Bayeco’s products were perfect for…

From Beach to City in Juliet Robot

Juliet Robot is a relatively new Korean shoe brand that is sure to stop you in your tracks with their unique styles. The designs are feminine with bold colors, and skillfully constructed with high quality materials. The silhouettes range from dainty to exaggerated. I instantly fell in love with the Voluminous Pink shoe from the premier collection. I paired the shoes with a simple White Ruffle Tie Dress to really let the color and oversized bows serve as the outfits focal point. I wore these shoes for a city outing in San Francisco and visited the cutest bakery. I paired them with this striped  Midi Jumpsuit . The shoes were very comfortable…

    Beauty Spotlight: Roses

One of my all time favorite ingredients when it comes to beauty products is rose water. There are so many positive benefits to having rose water and extract in beauty products. Rose is a natural astringent with toning properties, it helps reduce redness, and it has anti-inflammatory abilities. I love applying rosewater to my face after I wash it in the morning to use as a light toner. Korean skin care brand Commleaf sells three of my favorite products, a rosewater mist, sleeping mask, and rose moisture pads. I started incorporating these products into my daily routine after coming home from Paris to really dry flaky skin. It seems like every…

    Paris Lookbook

I am so excited to share some amazing brands that I had the chance to wear during my latest trip in Paris. When I started looking around and shopping for Paris I knew that I wanted to bring items that had a classic and feminine feel to them. These three brands exceeded my expectations! Joanie Clothing has a wide selection of apparel ranging from dresses to trousers. This brand has some stunning prints with a vintage flair. The collar detailing on this Zooey Swan Collar dress was adorable, and FYI its on sale now.  I loved how the colors and prints popped in photos. Sign up for their mailing list to…

Museum of Ice Cream: San Francisco- An updated review

UPDATE: This past month I was back at the Museum of Ice cream in San Francisco and noticed some MAJOR changes. They have added some more Ice Cream themed rooms and completely done away with a couple of OG’s. Never fear- the sprinkle pool is still there. The Banana  Swing alcove was still my favorite photo stop- thankfully that has stayed the same. New Room ALERT! The popsicle room is no more. I honestly prefer this new attraction ( to see the original room scroll below to my post from last year). The Circus Animal snack room made me feel nostalgic. I remember eating these by the handful as a…

    Rosé for the week

I am a huge fan of unicorn hair colors and am always toying with the idea of dying my hair pink or purple. I went to Target to pick up  some wrapping paper and a gift card and ended up leaving with a cart full of nonessentials- the typical result of my shopping experiences there. The most interesting product I couldn’t wait to try was a shower spray that promised to give rose-gold hair that washed out after 2-3 shampoos. I was intrigued. Kristin Ess Rose Gold Temporary Tint did not fail to disappoint! This is an in-shower product that you use on damp hair and leave in for 1-2…
