Beauty Spotlight: Wow You Beauty

This latest Beauty Spotlight post is all about beauty brand Wow You Beauty . I instantly connected to this brand even before trying their products through how genuine they sounded on their website and Instagram.

Here is an excerpt from their website:

“‘wow you’re beautiful!’

We believe you deserve to feel good in your skin no matter what anyone else thinks, f*** the haters, am I right?!

Our ‘WOW YOU’re beautiful’ philosophy is all about having amazingly healthy happy skin, inside and out!”

I love that philosophy and it really resonated with me. The brand caries a wide range of products for different skin types. I appreciate how they have a sensitive skin range.

Isn’t the packaging adorable! They smell even better than they look. The three products I am reviewing are the Hey Cu-Tea facemask, Babe Butter in vanilla, and super serum.

Hands down my FAVORITE was the firming vanilla Babe Butter. The vanilla smell was AMAZING and lasted way longer than I expected. Some of its main ingredients are coffee, vitamin C, pumpkin seed oil, coconut oil and hyaluronic acid. I’ve been using it for about two weeks and am loving how soft my skin has been feeling. Its also available in coconut. This product is paraben, sls and cruelty free.

I was really excited about trying the Hey Cu-Tea mask because it promised to, “improve the appearance of pores, hydrating skin and drawing out excess oils to fight off acne”. I typically find clay masks to be overly drying, but this one really did leave my skin feeling hydrated. Its main ingredients include green tea, melon, cucumber, apple, hyaluronic acid, and shea butter. I will note that spreading it evenly took a bit more effort than other masks I have tried.  The mask is paraben free, sls free, and cruelty free.

On the Wow You website the  Super Serum lists these three super good reasons for why you should be using it:

1 Defends Every day against pollution and acne by slaying free radicals and keeping breakouts at bay.
2. Rapidly repairs damage done by these pesky problems by fading blemishes and helping skin to regenerate.
3. Instantly brightens, hydrates and evens tone to leaves you with a natural dewy glow.

I have noticed my skin has felt very hydrated while using this product, but I have not seen any noticeable differences in my acne breakouts or any fading of previous acne marks. I have only been using this product for two weeks and will update this post again in another couple of weeks and report back to you guys. Key ingredients include rosehip oil, green tea, blueberry, vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, argan oil and apple.

Lately I have become more conscious about all of the chemicals in my routine and am happy to have found a brand that uses more natural ingredients. I would definitely re-purchase the mask and babe butter and there are several other products that I would add to my shopping list including the Aloe Gorgeous face moisturizer for sensitive skin and the Lit-C cleanser with vitamin C.

As a finishing FYI Wow You ships globally currently has a 20% off promotion going on if you use code take20 at checkout.
